Professional Dutch soccer clubs RKC Waalwijk and FC Den Bosch started a joined youth academy in the 2014-2015 season: Brabant United. Brabant United has been classified by the KNVB (Dutch Soccer Association) as a Regional Youth Academy.
The goal of the youth academy is of course the preparation of talents for a future in professional soccer as members of the first selection of professional soccer clubs. But the fact is that many talented soccer players end up pursuing a career outside of professional soccer.
Manager Youth Academy and former pro soccer player Arnold Scholten is very happy about the cooperation with KingsTalent. ‘Brabant United wants, as a organization in society, to provide a future for talents who come up just short of playing professional soccer. We want to offer these players a fitting continuation for their training for professional soccer. For these players to go on and perform at top sport level in combination with pursuing a degree on an American college fits this vision perfectly’.
