Jurren van der Gun is having a great time in the US. His achievements so far go without saying. Winning the championship title in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, reaching the national championships and getting ranked nationally as a team with ONU all confirms his great season so far. Besides these team achievements Jurren was already named All Conference player in the CCAC.
Last night we got the news that the 20 year old Olivet Nazarene University center back clinched another big individual award. In his first year in the US Jurren was named honorable mention All American! This means he is lauded for being one of the best college soccer players in the US.
A huge accomplishment and a great honor.
