Yesterday, he played in the national U19 Cup Final for FC Groningen U19 against AJAX U19 for 7.000 (!) attendents. Today, he signs for Binghamton University after 7 years FC Groningen youth soccer academy. Mats trades Groningen for New York State and will combine competing for the Binghamton University men’s soccer team with continuing his undergraduate studies.
